I, for one, am not about to whine about our bracket. I don' t care who we play. I honestly believe we can beat anybody. On the other hand, there are some teams I prefer not to play until the championship game, such as Michigan State, North Caroling, Kentucky and, yes, even West Virginia. They're all on the other side. So, I really like our bracket, but then I didn't buy tickets for Chicago.

And enjoy the ride. I am probably the biggest Henny Penny (the sky is falling) on this board.....I'm through worrying.

Couldn't agree more.

I'm typically skeptical of the conspiracy theories. Even with the OU guy on the board.

A few weeks ago they took some reporters in to do a mock selection and sure enough, even with no intention to do so, there were several storylines that popped up randomly that would have driven the conspiracy theorists nuts.

Would I think KU in Chicago would have been preferable? Sure. But in actual distance, it's essentially a wash. You'll also note that the gave KU and WVU their own brackets without any Big 12 competition.

Bottom line, to win this thing, you're going to hit a decent team on the 2nd day, and real contenders from that point onward. Frankly, there's nobody in our bracket that we can't beat 4 out of 5 games.

This thing is ours to lose right now...at least in terms of getting to the final four. Sure, there are no guarantees, but we're statistically the favorite for every game in our bracket.

Not only am I not whining, I think KU got a great bracket. I think the committee was good to their word to make the No. 1 seed have the easiest path. It is not easy but it is better than the other three. But I am with all of you in that this is the time to be focused on playing the game. I will say that this is the battle of two of the best chants in all of college basketball. Rock Chalk Jayahwk and Let's go Peay!!Although it would be pretty cool if they played Duke and you had one side yelling "Let's go Peay" and the other side yelling "Let's go Dookie." I guess Austin Peay win's that since technically they would be No. 1.

Agreed. Besides the Chicago misalignment I cant see where any of the ones got a huge advantage over the others. The short side of the story is much like a charge/block call no one is going to change this seeding. Its over and its time to play. To borrow another phrase "Keep the line moving". Thx E. Hosmer.
