Sitting here taking a break from income tax prep, reading Keegan's moaning about KU's bracket, and I guess with all the moaning and groaning over the last 18 hours I've just had enough of the whining already.
The OU AD chaired the thing, did anybody really believe KU was going to get a fair shake?
First Four play starts tomorrow, lock, load and be ready to rock, Shockers!

So, I really like our bracket, but then I didn't buy tickets for Chicago.
I had a hotel on hold, Doc, but decided two weeks ago to not pull the trigger yet on tickets. Whew! Good thing...

I made my points last night about the number of tough teams in our region, as well as the Chicago denial and the kid-glove treatment of Sparty. But I, too, am down with whatever and believe we have the goods to GO THE DISTANCE.
Lace 'em up and let it rip!

I'm typically skeptical of the conspiracy theories. Even with the OU guy on the board.
A few weeks ago they took some reporters in to do a mock selection and sure enough, even with no intention to do so, there were several storylines that popped up randomly that would have driven the conspiracy theorists nuts.
Would I think KU in Chicago would have been preferable? Sure. But in actual distance, it's essentially a wash. You'll also note that the gave KU and WVU their own brackets without any Big 12 competition.
Bottom line, to win this thing, you're going to hit a decent team on the 2nd day, and real contenders from that point onward. Frankly, there's nobody in our bracket that we can't beat 4 out of 5 games.
This thing is ours to lose right now...at least in terms of getting to the final four. Sure, there are no guarantees, but we're statistically the favorite for every game in our bracket.

Essentially, all fans think their team got a tough bracket. Hawks need to go out and stomp their foes starting with Austin Peay
