It'll feel better when it stops hurting
How did I miss that he was part of this team clear back in Sept? I kept seeing him in odd shots and didn't know he was assistant director of student athlete development

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
It's been really nice to see him right alongside the team, praising them and celebrating their success. I saw him embrace Devonte after the game last night and couldn't help but beam!
PS: I read somewhere that this may only be temporary, if he goes back to playing (overseas or otherwise). I wish him well, regardless, but am hoping we can keep him on board.

Aaron had an injury that required a year off from playing. So Self arranged for him to be at Kansas for the year. The original plan was for him to return to playing in Europe after this year, but perhaps he will get the coaching bug from hanging around this team.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Should Aaron stay, I hope he can stay in a role that would allow him to help Selden (who I believe will be back) and Brannen especially improve their respective handles. That is the single biggest physical thing they both need to work on.
Then there's the mental aspect of their games. How to improve that? Brannen more than Wayne, of course.
