Not at all surprised about Frank's numbers or Wayne's (despite 21 points, led team with 4 turnovers).
Devonté's #s are a bit of a surprise, but I think it can be attributed to him being on the floor (more than Frank was) with Greene and Jamari, who had horrible +/- games. Probably also the case for Wayne's showing being as bad as it was.
Thanks, Corpus!

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
At one point late in the game--I think with around 6 minutes to go, I looked up the individual stats and Frank had 7 assists to 0 turnovers. ZERO turnovers against a tenacious, annoying, pesky WVA defense. Of course, right when I did that, he threw a ball off the bottom of the backboard in trying to escape pressure, so I know now not to check such things again.
He wound up with only 4 points (not a great night), but 7 assists to 2 turnovers. With Devonte and Selden "on" as our scorers tonight (every night, someone steps up!), I'll take that for Frank. Especially against ThugginsBall.
PS: At one point he went down HARD on a play and was clearly hurting--his quad area. He limped noticeably yet immediately got back up the court on a WVU turnover. The kid is just tough as nails. I wish he and our guys didn't have to go quite so hard on the eve of the tourney, but perhaps it was a good thing--just to show that they can win 3 games in 3 days, including against the unorthodox, pesky, tenacious WVU press.

Bob and Greg in their postgame were saying that Frank was actually questionable as far as playing tonight. Anyone know what that was about? It was a pretty good effort if he was playing gimpy.

Apparently hurt himself in the Baylor game. Listening to hear what he hurt - foot, I think.

Good grief. I hope it's nothing serious or chronic. Visions of Hinrich, et al., coming to mind. (Nightmares, actually)

Well, Greg Gurley's response was, "He will have most of April to recover."
If he is able to play like he did tonight for the next three long weekends, we might be ok.
