Regardless of the opponent....as long as we play 5 on 5 and not 5 on 6, 7, or 8.........

We played them twice and won one and lost one. The won we lost was during our slump, when Mason was most likely injured and generally playing terribly. We beat them when we were back on track and Mason was playing well. Right now we're playing extremely well, with a sense of purpose and focus and I am not concerned about WVU. Remember that we beat OU twice this season, so as highly ranked as they have been, we had their number. I'm not going to guarantee a win tonight, but I am confident we'll win by a decent margin given the importance of the game to the team. This is a BIG game for us, and this season we have won the games we had to once we hit our stride.70-64, KU

The team is playing well, and I fully expect them to win. BUT, I didnt want to play WVA either, as the Hawks are going to come out of this game possibly beat up and tired. Physicality is the main weapon of WVA, not a team you want to meet going into the big dance, unfortunately.

Like KU, WVU will be playing its third game in as many days. Their pressure defense must be physically demanding. I'm wondering how much gas they have left in their tank. Thoughts?

Their game was last night, regardless of what Huggins says in public. They played late, and experted maximum effort for the full 40 minutes. I expect they will crash in the 2nd half today. On the other hand, they will come out on fire and we better be ready.
