Mongo just pawn in game of life.
You know, I was a junior in 1988 and just now was the first time I watched the 1st half of that game. After skipping work at Walmart to drive to Detroit and see the Final 8 game against KSU, I didn't have much excuse to miss another. So I worked the night of the championship game and the dang manager on duty that night, a KSU grad if I remember right, kept us there forever after the store closed and I barely got to my apartment in time to watch the 2nd half.
Whatever happened to Keith Harris? He had a volatile year, off the court I believe, but for a young kid playing (out of "true" position?) against bigger guys, he sure had game. What was the final straw that resulted in his departure?
Did Musberger say that Lincoln Minor was a juco transfer? I didn't remember that. Did he play another year for us or did he get booted off the team as well?
Memories. Damn I'm old.

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
I watched the 2008 one this morning with my coffee. It was just good fun!
