Watching this game (Metro Atlantic regular season #1 v #2, as it should be ) as I write this.
Iona has made the MAAC tournament title game for the third straight year, having lost the last 2 years to Manhattan.
The Gaels had led the entire game until the Hawks tied it 23-23 with 3:33 left in H1, and Monmouth leads 34-30 at the half.
No one expected such a low scoring game (they split during the season, 110-102 Monmouth, 83-67 Iona, both games were road wins), but these two teams are going at each other tooth and nail.
According to Jay Bilas and Joe Lunardi, as far as *they* are concerned Monmouth should be in, win or lose, because of it's W-L schedule.
Monmouth has 13 road wins and 17 road & neutral wins in addition to winning the MAAC regular season title.
Should Iona win, Monmouth seems to have a real shot at getting in despite not being in a major conference.
And although Monmouth has started to come alive at the close of H1, remember that Iona has been in this game 3 years running, and lost the first two times. And Iona won the last meeting between the two, at Monmouth.
Can Iona pull it off? And if they do, will Monmouth still Dance?
Bubble, bubble, who's on the bubble?

I have to believe that WSU will be dancing, so UNI is one BB.
I don't know NF's bonafides, but they would have to be strong to get an at large bid.
Anyone have the info for our consideration?
I don't see Belmont (best OVC record) getting in (20-11, 12-4) since Austin Peay won it all (including beating Belmont in OT in the semifinals).
Big South -- won by UNC AshevilleBonafides question again.

I agree that right now WSU is probably dancing. That said they are dangerously close to the edge. If we see more unexpected automatic bids they could find themselves out. That would be a huge disappointment for their fans since they were a preseason top 10. Going to be an interesting week.

Iona Gaels finally go dancing after losing the title game the last two years. Iona last danced in 2013.
According to Bilas and Lunardi, Monmouth should be the biggest bubble buster, followed by WSU.

Can someone give me a simple explanation of the last four in first four out concept. On the USA Today bracketology site WSU is not in their their field of 68 teams but appear on the first four out list. If they are on the first four out list shouldn't they be on the list to begin with? What am I missing here?

4 regions, each with a last team chosen to play.
Last 4 in -- the last teams predicted to dance in each region
First 4 out -- the teams that just missed making the dance because the "last 4 in" beat them for the last spots.
