Neither Bob nor Greg could tell why Perry got charged with the flagrant foul, and according to them there was no replay of the incident.

Coming down for a rebound after the shot preceding the KU fast break, Perry looked like he inadvertantly raked his elbow across the ISU guy's face. I'm not sure what the rule is, but it seems these days that if there's any elbow to head contact, they go to the monitors and call something.

Right! Hope someone can 'splain it. I did see that HCBS didn't seem to be angry about it whatever it was.

Don't we have somebody else to "take care of business" if you know what I mean?

It didn't look dirty. Looked incidental to me, but it seems to me that in the current environment, if ANYBODY gets hit in the head, they look at it. I didn't record it, but NOBODY seemed to be looking at it like it was anything cheap.
On the other hand, there was the tangle-up between Landon Lucas and one of the ISU guys. THAT could have been a call, IMHO. Landon was clearly undercut by the ISU guy and when both ended up out of bounds, Landon appeared to just be trying to protect himself from falling. The ISU guy looked to be more of the instigator there.
Anyway, I will credit the refs for NOT stopping play on the KU fast break after the Perry thing.
