That's gotta be very cool for Danny. Obviously Danny has super strong ties to KU, and having his son play here must have been quite a thrill. Seeing him on Senior Day, following in dad's footsteps, must have Danny busting at the seams with pride.
Obviously it was important enough for him to demand that the WF schedule NOT block him from attending as part of his contract.
I'm confident that Danny will bring Wake up to snuff very quickly. Remember, in season 1, you're inheriting players from the past program, and kind of in limbo regarding to recruiting. Takes at least a year before the coach can really be evaluated.
