“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

I voted for 14-4...but honestly, if I'd been asked if that would hold up when we hit our slump, I would've said highly unlikely.

I said 15 - 3 (lucky) but would have surrendered my bet during the slump.
Nonetheless, we are back with a vengeance and prepared to peak in March!!!!

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
I went with 14-4. Historically you need 13-14 wins to get at least a share.
I thought 15 would have been high based on how tough things looked at the onset.
I can't say what I would have revised things to during the slump. I think if I went back and looked at my posts, I probably would have revised downward, but I also remember defending HCBS' handling of the team at the time. I actually took some time off from posting because things were so negative here.
In retrospect, the loss to OSU was rock bottom. Losses at WVU and ISU aren't "bad" losses outside of KU fan circles. Some ugly wins in that period too, but a W is a W in the end.
