25-5 run to end the game, final score 76-63

Major collapse by the Sooners. Congrats to the Horns for a great finish.

BEWARE, Jayhawks, you are in for a battle.

Any chance WVU loses today so our guys can celebrate having it all to themselves tonight?

That was a horrible implosion by OU, and a really tenacious attack by UT. I feel bad for OU, because they seemed like the league's best shot for a second 1 seed, and they just seem to be losing confidence and steam as the season progresses.

As for UT, man, that is going to be one super tough out Monday for KU. Shaka has a bevy of athletes to run his schemes, and it's in their building. I would really like to sweep them in his first year, just because I feel like they will become our arch-rival in hoops again under his coaching and with the recruiting hauls they can achieve. In other words, no need to prematurely supercharge his program in his first year.

If Wayne sleepwalks and pouts his way through another game Monday, we're toast. We need all hands on deck for that one.

PS: RE WVU losing today, I don't see it--though it is at Stillwater.

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

Agree with everything else you write, but regarding the bolded sentence --

I don't see it either, but a guy can dream, can't he? :P :silly: :woohoo:
