I doubt it was just me, but when Baylor blew their final timeout with something like 5 minutes left, that seemed like the moment where I felt we were going to be ok. With that much time left, a 1 point game, and KU still having 2 timeouts left, and I just felt that in a Drew vs. Self chess match, Self was Gary Kasparov and Drew was Shemp from the 3 Stooges.

Nothing else to report here, but I don't remember the last time I saw a guy manage his timeouts so poorly in a close game as opposed to a blowout.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
