Found this article tonight and looks like good news. Perry should be able to play against Baylor on Tuesday.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Fantastic news! Thanks for sharing...

Thanks, mp44!

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
Fella had a tough day on Saturday. Watching blood running down his neck and dripping off his head was certainly no-bueno. Coming back was great, but then he gets his eye jabbed!!!
I can't recommend that HCBS buy the kid a 6 pack of beer for the ride home, but if anyone deserved "miller time" it was Perry.
Glad his eye is good to go. He'd probably be ok in goggles, but if he doesn't need them all the better. The stitches, while pretty gruesome looking on TV is really not a big deal. Of course with his receding hairline, someday he might have a visible scar.
