Bragg (D-) – The only reason he did not get an F is because he did get three rebounds. He had 2 of the worst TO’s you can ever see in 11.5 minutes. His +/- delta was very bad. In those 11.5 minutes the Jayhawks were outscored by 9.
Landen (B+) – Landen only played 14.4 minutes because of foul trouble but in that time the Jayhawks outscored the Wildcats by 14. With Lucas on the bench the Jayhawks were outscored by 5. Landen is working his way to being an indispensable player. He had 8 rebounds in those 14.4 minutes which is a world class pace. Plus he scored 7. I really should give him an A.
Svi (A) – 3 for 4 from the arc and 4 rebounds in 19.2 minutes. Plus he had 2 assists. Really a great game by Svi.
Mason (A-) – Frank played mostly really really well. He scored 16 and had 5 assists to 1 TO. The reason for the A- instead of A is his really bad defense on a few possessions in the 1st half.
Ellis (A-) – Perry played very well. He was 4 for 6 which is about where he needs to be. He also had 1 assists and a steal.
Selden (A-) – I like what Wayne did this game. He was only 1-4 from the arc but played pretty nice defense and was a man on the boards with a couple really nice offensive boards and put back.
Graham (B ) – Devonte’ did not shoot well until he made the biggest shot of the game. He also was the guy who finally made some FT’s in the last minute going 4-4. He also had 6 big rebounds. His big black eye was the 5 TO’s. Not his best game.
Traylor (B ) – Played 15.7 minutes about like he should. But that lane drive dunk was crazy sweet. He does that kind of stuff that makes you love him.
Mickelson (C) -- This grade may be harsh. He did some nice things but the Jayahwks were completely out of sync when he was in the game.
Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

Diallo turnover taking the ball out of bounds on the baseline.
Svi great hustle back after a turn over to intercept the pass which led to a break the other way

I will add Diallo turnover taking the ball out of bounds on the baseline.
Amen. That gets him an F- in my book. As in a "that can only happen in 3rd grade house basketball" kind of mistake.
That play personifies why the NBA scouts would have to be out of their frigging minds to draft him after this year. He has nowhere to go but up because he's starting from such a low floor...as in still learning the game of basketball from the ground up.
That's not an affront to him, just calling it like it is. The kid will be special, but he's going to need 2 if not 3 years to get where he needs to be.

All told, our starters were solid tonight (per your grades), as were two guys off the bench (Svi and Jamari). And that was the difference in a win versus another mind-numbing loss at Bramlage.
Kudos to the kids for getting 'er done!

* Greene deserved worse than a -2 with the eye test. He passed up key 3s, turned the ball over on travels and what-not, and played his usual stand-up, poor lateral mobility D. He was single-handedly responsible for at least 3 help D breakdowns caused by him losing his man. I guess the pressure of going to Bramlage after Dunk-gate got to him?
In my crude translation of the above to a letter grade, I'd go "D+" for tonight, and that's only due to one thing--the only thing he did correctly or well tonight: rebounding. Gotta hand it to Greene for his rebounding prowess, when he chooses to engage. He even boxed out Cheick on one K-State free throw--and Cheick had the low block spot! Overall, though, a very forgettable night. And if Svi can come in and shoot like that, he will reduce Greene's PT noticeably, because Svi can actually play defense. (That was textbook M2M D by him tonight...)
