So I'm watching ESPN . . .

And the crawler says Louisville takes down Puke. A higher ranked (#18) team beats a lower (#20) ranked team (in Louisville). Not that big of a deal, no real surprise, but ESPN crawler then rolls, "a depleted" Puke team loses.

So why the editorial comment? The loss wasn't unexpected, nor does Puke need to apologize for the loss. Yet ESPN feels the need to "qualify" the Puke loss.

Have I ever mentioned I hate Puke? Just askin'
