"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"

The end is nothing; the road is all.

A giant comeback in the 2nd half, or is all the air out of the TX balloon?

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Nice to see them taken down a peg, and all but eliminated from the Big 12 race.
We don't need no upstart young whippersnapper comin' into our league and havin' immediate success!
That said, I'm no fan of Baylor and Alfred E. Neuman staying in the hunt. We still have to take them down one more time on their floor.
All things being equal, though, this is probably a favorable outcome.
