Time to really get passionate about the race, add some grain alcohol to that grape juice.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
The guys just need to play this scene on a reel over and over and over the next couple days.

The Purps need to know that this has not been forgotten, nor has the disgusting behavior of their football band toward KU. I hope we kick the absolute snot out of them.

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
If Texas wins their home game tonight vs. WVU (entirely possible), then WVU would be in a tie for 2nd with OU 9-4 (assuming an OU win at Tech tomorrow).
Then, Saturday, while we're smashing grapes, OU is in Morgantown and SOMEBODY WILL LOSE. Assuming we beat the kitties, either OU and WVU will be 2 games back and in a world of hurt. Since we've played them both twice already, they can't do anything to come back unless we screw up.
Bottom line, I'd love to see Texas win tonight, or if not, OU win on Saturday to get rid of the tie for 1st place.
