NOTES
1. The table reflects the 2023 NCAA IRP vacating of 15 wins from the KANSAS 2017-18 season from those 20 games in which retroactively declared ineligible Silvio De Sousa played.
2. The table shows the official NCAA record for Syracuse, which excludes the 101 wins the NCAA vacated in 2015. If those wins had not been vacated Syracuse would be #5 with almost 2100 wins.
3. Connecticut, which played its first season in 1901, is the only program with 4 or more NCAA Tournament titles not in the Top 10. In the Top 10 only 4 programs -- Kansas, Syracuse, Temple and Indiana -- have played more seasons than #25 UConn. In the Top 24 there are 11 programs who have played more seasons (add Purdue, Cincinnati, BYU, Washington, Penn, Michigan State and Princeton to the first 4 named).
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or spot any errors, and thanks in advance!

TOP 25 ALL TIME WINNINGEST NCAA D1 PROGRAMS 2024
before the NCAA & NATIONAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS
POINTS OF INTEREST
• #1 and #2: UK losing to Texas A&M in its first SEC Tournament game kept its lead over KANSAS at 6.
• #6: Temple's run to the AAC Tournament title game brought them back to a tie with Syracuse, so both programs are now 7 wins shy of 2000 – and both are done for 2024 as Temple did not get any invitations and Syracuse turned down an NIT invitation after missing the NCAAT.
• #11 Purdue, with #10 Indiana turning down an NIT bid after missing the Big Dance, can make up ground on but not catch the Hoosiers this postseason. The Boilermakers trail IU by 7 games.
• The 1900 Wins Club
- #12 Cincinnati and #13 Illinois joined this AY.
- #14 Texas is still 1 win away.
- #15: Western Kentucky winning the NCAAT would get them there; Utah winning the NIT would leave them 1 shy at 1899.
• #23: Princeton and UConn are tied at 1831. Michigan State drops to #25.
• Top 25 ATWP not dancing in either tournament – UCLA, Syracuse (declined NIT), Temple, Notre Dame, St. John’s (declined NIT), Indiana (declined NIT), Washington, West Virginia and Penn.

NOTES
In the Top 10 only 4 programs -- Kansas, Syracuse, Temple and Indiana -- have played more seasons than UConn. In the Top 25 there are 11 programs who have played more seasons (Kansas, Syracuse, Temple, Indiana, Purdue, Cincinnati, BYU, Washington, Penn, Michigan State and Princeton).

before the NCAA & NATIONAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

NOTES
