Today Shay Wildeboor of JayhawkSlant writes that Self is looking to add another scholarship player for this year after the Fall semester has ended. He can't say with 100% certainty that that this will happen, but thinks it possible.
He doesn't see anything happening when it comes to Bryson Tucker, a five-star HS prospect who recently visited KU. Tucker would have to graduate early to move up to this season's recruiting class. Shay did not think the interest wa there on Tucker's part after the visit.
Shay is working his contacts and it sounds like Self & Co are looking overseas for an addition at semester. He has no doubt that Self would love to add another shooter to the roster, and doesn't believe that he will add a player at semester unless he firmly believes that player can make an impact this season.
