Season summary

Roy Williams - "We played fantastic the first 10 minutes (22-0). When it comes so easy, I think it's the natural tendency to look up and think, 'This is going to be showtime.' I've always said great starts don't make me feel like the game is over with."
Eric Pauley - "It was kind of scary when they got the lead (75-78 with 4:45 to play). We could feel it coming, but it's a big difference when you look up at the scoreboard and you're down."
Rex Walters - "When you've got a team down 28-3 in a basketball game, you're supposed to kick 'em, and we didn't do that. We got that big halftime lead (50-31) and we thought things would be easier in the scond half, and they weren't. The just kept fighting and gighting, and I guess we expected them to crumble."
Pat Richey, who had arthroscopic knee surgery last week - "Thank God my lateral quickness is back. the only thing I think I lack right now is jumping ability. I'm very happy I cam back this quickly. One thing I've learned from all my injuries is how to deal with pain in doing the rehab exercises."
ETSU coach Alan LeForce - "We were 12 for 41 at half. You're not going to beat anybody, particularly a good ball team, like that. I knew we were going to be a little nervous, but that shouldn't last for doggone 20 minutes.

"If you've watched basketball long enough, you never quit. You continue to do what you do best, and you may get beat by 25 points, or I've seen people come back. But you don't see many better comebacks that we did here."
