“The older I get, the more intense (returning to Kansas) becomes.”

247Sports.com - Swain: Commitment profile: KU getting a well-rounded TE in Joeseph Skipworth (VIP)

The 6-5/205 2025 recruit is a big get for KU and new OC Jeff Grimes. Fantastic ball skills - route running, pass catching, capable and willing blocker, great body control and very good speed. Grimes really wanted him. Leaves one TE spot open. Names on “the board” are Kansas native Linkon Cure (reportedly an A&M lean, despite brother Trevor already on board). Jayden Savoury and Noah LaPorte. Swain think KU sits the best with LaPorte.

Wednesday saw the death of a Legend.
ESPN: NBA all-time great Jerry West dies at age 86

The word “legend” is overused in my opinion, but if it was created at all it was created to describe Jerry West.
RIP, Mr. Logo.
The Lawrence forecast calls for a breezy morning, partly cloudy during most of the day but with a thunderstorm possible (40% chance of precipitation) in the afternoon. High of 96F (35.6 C) and an overnight low of 69F (20.6 C).
That is all for now.
Hope you have a GREAT day!

✦ Thought for the Day "Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does."
— William James, American philosopher and psychologist
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
