• Shay Wildeboor, JayhawkSlant reported Hunter Dickinson, Flory Bidunga talk after camp scrimmage
The annual camp scrimmage (Blue 46, Red 38) was held inside Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena Tuesday afternoon (we're just beginning to see, now we're on our way...). Here's Hunter Dickinson (Red 10 pts) and Flory Bidunga (Blue 8 pts) after the game.

• Michael Swain's post-scrimmage notes at 247Sports.com - Swain: Observations from KU basketball's first camp scrimmage of the summer (VIP)
- First remember it's a first scrimmage, so don't overreact to what happens in it. Past first scrimmage standouts (e.g., Charlie Moore, Joseph Yesufu and Zuby Ejiofor) often did not live up to their first blush promise in actual competition.
- Overall athleticism has improved from last season, as all five newcomers showed some real bounce.
- Storr and Passmore were biggest standouts offensively, looking good scoring on drives and from the arc.
- Flory Bidunga has fantastic bounce and can dunk like a cop at Dunkin', but the rest of his offensive game is a work in progress. Still, expect good things!
- Rylan Griffen looked good on D and Zeke Mayo "showed some good burst off the dribble."
- HCBS had a big smile on his face watching the scrimmage. Later he spent time with visiting Christian Braun and Tyson Grant-Foster.

✦ KUFB - JayhawkSlant - Jon Kirby: RECRUITING UPDATE Wednesday June 5
Today starts camp season. "Don't expect the camps to be loaded with prospects. Most players with offers won't attend and with the new mega camps it has taken away from the on-campus college camps." But they do give "college coaches a chance to see everyone in the same place."
KU plans to take three TE in this class, one being committed transfer Leyton Cure. JK thinks Joseph Skipworth will be another.
DT names JK is watching - Cameron Brooks, Brad Fitzgibbon.
