First thought for me - with the end of the latest hoops recruiting dead period, I am hoping we learn something soon about who - if anyone - will be filling that #12 scholarship for next year's team?

Official Visit update from Jon Kirby, JayhawkSlant Grand Poobah and Football guru:
Linkon Cure arrived around noon on Friday and Bryce Foster got to Lawrence in the early evening.
On Cure's last visit he met with KU AD Travis Goff and heard he did that again on the official visit.
Keaton Kubecka was Cure's host and the family was on the visit. Part of that was Leyton Cure was moving to KU and reporting for summer workouts. So, the timing worked out well.
Calvin Clements was the host for Foster. Got word he met with the track coaches and I believe the main coach involved was throws coach Doug Reynolds. Foster told me he liked the OL group he met on the visit and called them "some great dudes".
On Saturday night the visitors and family went to Lance Leipold's house for dinner I heard was steak and lobster.
From what I am hearing it is a two-team race with KU and Oregon for Foster. I think USC is out of the picture. There was talk Houston was trying to get in the mix, but that never happened.

TE Linkon Cure is top prospect in Kansas (#54 on Rivals, #26 on 247Sports, #119 ESPN, brother or new Jayhawk transfer TE Leyton Cure. Fingers crossed, bets are on kitties, hope they lose their $!
Texas A&M Transfer OL (also an Aggie T&F shotputter) Bryce Foster would be a huge get. He just finished his T&F season and is now seriously looking at his home for next AY. He anchored the A&M OL for 12 games last year. Fingers crossed KU lands him!
• KUVB - Our ladies played their last game in Milan against one of the top U22 teams on the continent and came up short. Today they return home.
Well done, Jayhawks!
