How many days until LATE NIGHT in The PHOG!?
and other dates of interest...*Estimate based on first Friday in October. Official announcement expected in July 2024.
KU -
As anticipated, Rice transfer sophomore guard Noah Shelby committed to KANSAS Sunday evening.
Noah's tweet
Shelby will be a redshirt walk-on for AY2024-25.

In other potential transfer news, word is that OK State transfer PG Javon Small (6-3/195), who announced his commitment to West Virginia in early May, still has not signed with West Virginia. Talk behind the scenes is:
• People close to Small are looking around again and Small could end up not playing at West Virginia in AY2024-25
• KU is back in the mix, a visit to KU has been discussed. Per Michael Swain "if it’s going to happen in the next two weeks it will need to happen in the next 48 hours because there is a dead period upcoming that goes from May 22 through June 2. Any visit would need to be over by Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. CT." (link to VIP Phog.net/247Sports.com post)
Other KU Athletics news -
ESPN: KUFB #22 in ESPN's preseason Top 25, one of 5 Big 12 teams in the group, led by Utah at #9.
KUAthletics.com - Women's Rowing: Jayhawks Finish 6th at the Big 12 Rowing Championship
Finally, elsewhere in the whole wide world of sports -
ESPN: A tip of the hat in respect to the passing this weekend of "Mr. Raider", Hall of Fame Center Jim Otto.
On the homefront, still dealing with the surplus dog population.
One more day!
That is all for now.
Hope you have a GREAT day!
