From a kid who was homeless for a time in HS, to a partial qualifier, to a college graduate. Great success story.
I'm guessing that Jamari will have the opportunity to play overseas somewhere. Sounds like he's not sure what he wants to do from there, but it's nice to see a kid come so far. Great energy, and if he can translate that kind of work ethic into a career after basketball, he'll be just fine.

Braeden was in the same class with Jamari and McLemore. He was also a partial qualifier and left for Fresno State, where he was fully eligible. He's also quite an academic success story. Now officially a junior, because of missing a full season after a car accident, he's now at Seton Hall. He got his degree. Now in law school..
Here's a good bio.

These are the kind of stories that kin of put a lump in your throat. So pleased for Traylor. To the best of my knowledge he has had exemplary behavior on and off the court. I'm very happy to have him as a representative of KU and KU basketball.

Couldn't agree with you more, Goodyear! Get an opportunity and make the most of it and be a good kid to boot!
