Assistant Coach Joe Dooley - "We told Wayne he’d better watch out. Mike was all over the backboards. He snatched a couple away from Wayne. But Michael said Wayne gave him four. It was a good effort by the guys.

"J-Hawk did a nice job. He made some shots for us. He was solid with the ball, unlike some of the other guys. We turned it over way too much. Coach will address that. We had 11 in the first half, and a lot of unforced and careless ones, and we can’t do that and expect to compete tomorrow.

"JR hit a big three for us. He lined up our front and banged one and pushed our lead out a little bit more. Diving on that loose ball changed the tempo of the game in some regards. That was a big, big play and that got us going again. He did some really good things despite not shooting the ball well.

"(Moody and Galindo) draw some ticky tack fouls. K-State went to the free throw line 35 times. That’s a lot of free throw attempts. I don’t think Alex and Christian really got their money’s worth, but they did some good things. Christian was solid. Alex did some good things, made a big three for us at the end of the shot clock. Both of those guys contributed, and we need them to.

"(K-State) has been playing very well. They won four of their last five. The only loss they had was to us. They’ve got a guy in Massey who can go get you points in bunches. Then Lance Harris stepped up. Cartier Martin got off to a great start and had a good night. They’ve got a bunch of different weapons."
